Scope: This AIR examines issues that apply to aircraft operations that could result in exposure of occupants to altitudes above 10,000 feet, intentional or otherwise.Should exposure to high altitude occur, both physiological and non-physiological problems may occur. This AIR will look into these issues with the exception of decompression sickness (DCS) which is covered elsewhere.
