【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardcoversthefollowingaspectsoffiretestingofplasticsmaterialsandproducts:--selectionofappropriateteststhatreflectrealisticend-useconditions;--groupingofthereaction-to-firecharacteristicsthatanygiventestortestscanmeasure;--assessmentoftestsastotheirrelevanceinareassuchasmaterialcharacterization,qualitycontrol,pre-selection,end-producttesting,environmentalprofilingandDfE(DesignfortheEnvironment);--definitionofpotentialproblemsthatmayarisewhenplasticsaretestedinstandardfiretests.ThescopeofthisInternationalStandarddoesnotincludethedevelopmentordesignofnewfiretestsforplastics.However,theflexibilityofapproachthatisindicatedwithrespecttothemountingandfixingoftestspecimenswillbevaluablewhenfire-testinglaboratoriesandcertificationbodiesareconsideringhowtoevaluaterangesofplasticsthatareusedindifferentways.
