【摘要】:Resistancetocompressionisthemeasureofthegreateststrengthofaceramicmaterial.Ideally,ceramicsshouldbestressedthiswayinuse.Thistestisameasureofthepotentialload-bearingusefulnessofaceramic.1.1Thistestmethodcoverstwotestprocedures(AandB)forthedeterminationofthecompressivestrengthoffiredwhitewarematerials.1.2ProcedureAisgenerallyapplicabletowhitewareproductsoflow-tomoderatelyhigh-strengthlevels(upto150000psior1030MPa).1.3ProcedureBisspecificallydevisedfortestingofhigh-strengthceramics(over100000psior690MPa).1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
