【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversporousmetallicsleeve,flange,thrustandsphericalbronze-basebearingsthatareproducedfrommixedmetalpowdersutilizingpowdermetallurgy(PM)technologyandthenimpregnatedwithoiltosupplyoperatinglubrication.1.2Includedarethespecificationsforthechemical,physicalandmechanicalrequirementsofthosebronze-basePMmaterialsthathavebeendevelopedandstandardizedspecificallyforuseinthemanufactureoftheseself-lubricatingbearings.1.3Thisspecificationisapplicabletothepurchaseofbronze-basebearings(oil-impregnated)thatwereformerlycoveredbymilitaryspecificationsandareintendedforgovernmentormilitaryapplications.ThoseadditionalgovernmentrequirementsthatonlyapplytomilitarybearingsarelistedintheSupplementaryRequirementssectionofthisspecification.1.4ThisspecificationacccompaniesSpecificationB439thatcoverstherequirementsforIron-BasePowderMetallurgy(PM)Bearings,(Oil-Impregnated).1.5Typicalapplicationsforbronze-basebearingsarelistedinAppendixX1.1.6BearingdimensionaltolerancedataareshowninAppendixX2,whileengineeringinformationregardinginstallationandoperatingparametersofPMbearingsisincludedinAppendixX3.Additionalusefulinformationonself-lubricatingbearingscanbefoundinMPIFStandard35andthetechnicalliterature.1.7Withtheexceptionofdensityvaluesforwhichtheg/cm3unitistheindustrystandard,thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.TheSIequivalentsofinch-poundunits,showninparenthesis,havebeenconvertedinaccordancewithIEEE/ASTMSI10,maybeapproximateandareonlyforinformation.1.8Thefollowingsafetyhazardscaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodsdescribedinthisspecification.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
