【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoverscold-formed,lightgagecarbonsteelsheetpilingofstructuralqualityforuseintheconstructionofshorewalls,trenchshoring,wingwalls,bulkheads,andlikeapplications.1.2Thenominalthicknessofmaterialfurnishedunderthisspecificationshallbe0.25in.[6.4mm]orless.1.3Whenthesheetpilingistobewelded,itispresupposedthataweldingproceduresuitableforthegradeofsteelandintendeduseorservicewillbeused.SeeAppendixX3ofSpecificationA6/A6Mforinformationonweldability.1.4Thevaluesstatedineitherinch-poundunitsorSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Withinthetext,theSIunitsareshowninbrackets.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemarenotexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemmustbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnonconformancewiththespecification.
